After a slight hiccup with the booking company (didn’t book direct) but after this I will always go straight to the tour company. We boarded the boat at 9:30am (Family of 4 adults and 2 children) Patrick was our skipper and such a great guy! He really made the trip enjoyable and made up feel safe throughout. We were so lucky to see dolphins and a large pod of pilot whales which was just magical you could even hear them breathing through their blow holes! Sadly 3/6 of us became sea sick even after taking meds two hours before and wearing patches! But Patrick was a true gent and made sure everyone had water and put my son at ease when he made a mess of the boat! 🙈 Sorry again Patrick! We enjoyed a swim in the sea before heading back to dry land just before lunch because we chose to skip lunch due to the sea sickness! 🤢 Overall this trip was totally worth the money and I would highly recommend the private charter with Patrick on the Galatea! We looked at all the trips on offer from this port & decided we wanted a small and intimate trip to really see what was lurking out in the Atlantic Ocean . We were not disappointed , so much so we have rebooked to go out again on the last day of our holidays . So many dolphins to be seen and the fact you are on such a small boat and so close to the water you can enjoy the antics of them almost laughing at their playfulness . So much experience from Jose and Patrick they know where the dolphins are and make sure you see them in their natural environment ! We loved it 🥰Booked the boat trip for our youngest sons 5th birthday and from start to finish Patrick was amazing even when 4 out the seven of us where being sick 😫. Booked the boat trip for our youngest sons 5th birthday and from start to finish Patrick was amazing even when 4 out the seven of us where being sick 😫. They had even decorated the boat with banners for my little boy as well. We had the best time we got to see pilot Whales and dolpins the kids where so happy. Would definitely recommend the boat trip but just don't eat before hand 😃
