What to expect
Route one: Tule tree, sixteenth century Dominican church, weavers village and Mezcal distillery. Route two: Villages of wood carvers, black pottery and back strapped looms. Route three: Monte Albán, hand made paper factory, School of Art and Green glazed and terracotta pottery village. Passenger insurance, in an SUV Chevrolet Suburban or Audi sedan with A/C , cold purified water, ice, etc. In case that you want to stop to eat something, I know the best spots. Give you explanations interacting with locals, history, etc. When tourists ask me to stop by the houses of the artisans, I steer away from the most touristy places and stop with true artists and Masters; buying something or not, you can be sure that you will be looking at high-quality craftsmanship or as people say; "the real thing".
You can "play it by ear" and stop or skip some places. Normally takes six hours each route at your own pace.

He took us to a stunning 16th century church, and was sure to point out and provide information on things that I’m sure are often overlooked by other guides. It really gave us a wonderful sense of the history of Oaxaca and its culture. He also took us to see two unbelievable artists in Teotitlan del Valle, and they did not disappoint. Roberto was an excellent tour guide. He took up from the Centroid to Monte Albán. The car he picked us up in is clean and comfortable. He gave us a base of knowledge before we arrived to the archeological site. He arranged the tour through the site. After leaving Monte Albán we went to Teotilán del Valle. Roberto knew the top textile artists in town. We finished the day with a later lunch at a Mezcaleria, he called ahead to get us the best waiter. I couldn’t recommend him enough!I highly recommend Roberto to anyone wanting a guide to explore Oaxaca with. We were a party of 7 and utilized his services on 3 separate days. The first was to go to Tlacolula market and Teotitlan, he had great suggestions for stops along the way and we are so glad we trusted all of his recommendations. He also took us to Ocotlan Market with stops at different artisan villages, again it was a lovely day! Roberto has a ton of knowledge and seems to know everyone. I fully recommend Roberto and trust him and his advice and recommendations. Additionally, Roberto dropped us off at a Airbnb that we had booked that was very rustic. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable with the place we had chosen (it was very rustic) and went so far is to find us local contacts who could accommodate us if we felt uncomfortable!Excellent service , pick-up on time, safe driving, boat tour was fantastic of the Huatulco bays, we saw turtles, dolphins, and good snorkeling .Victor the guide was very accommodating. We used the same tour in private car for the return at the airport, few days later .
