We were taken to three different wine countries: first to Neethlinghoff in Stellenbosch, then to Rickety Bridge in Frannschoek, finally to Fairview in Paarl. In between, we had lunch on our own at Viande at the Grande Roche Hotel near Paarl. Everything was done with class and caring. We really felt special with many extra touches along the way. We felt really taken care of by Ivan and our driver Esadoor - Ivan had excellent recommendations and was able to customize his schedule to meet our wine preferences. All the tastings were included in the price which makes this tour an incredible value - between the wine, the transportation, the camaraderie, and the information you get a ton for your money! Ivan also booked us a reservation for the most amazing lunch - it was an incredible setting and probably the best meal we had on the trip thus far. Where do I even begin. My partner and I booked our winelands tour via trip advisor with I&F elegant country tours and all we can say is excellent, being that it was my partners first time in South Africa (Cape Town)he had such high expectations and all of them were met. Mr Ivan was so punctual on the morning of our tour I think he probably arrived an hour early which was so impressive. The day started off with an introduction and we were offered some refreshments , we drove through some historic parts of capetown and the depth of knowledge Mr Ivan has about capetown was outstanding. Our first stop started at a vineyard in Stellenbosch where we tasted a selection of wines then had a private tour of the cellars, we then moved on to our second location in franschhoek for more wine tasting. Mr Ivan then took us to a lovely french restaurant with such a breathtaking scenery for lunch. The day ended with our last stop in Paarl for a wine and cheese tasting set which we really enjoyed. All in all we had such a pleasant time with Mr Ivan and we would really like to encourage anyone who’s thinking about going for a tour to book with I&F tours. Tour über 5 Weingüter, alle interessant und speziell in Franshoek, Paarl und Stellenbosch, letzter Halt bei KWV zur Weinbrandprobe. Wir tranken nur Weißwein und Brandy, interessante Proben, aber leider nicht passend zu meinem Moselgeschmack. Nach 8 Stunden zurück zum Hotel sehr gelungene Tagestour.The tour was great.
