Begin your day aboard Seabird! Come sail the Gulf of Papagayo and enjoy the warm Costa Rican water and maritime life as you snorkel through interesting coves alongside our expert snorkel guide. Visit secluded beaches and relax aboard our 45 ft double masted monohull. Crew is Bi-lingual on you will be spoiled!
After snorkeling and beach time, you’ll enjoy delicious fresh snacks and beverages prepared daily on the boat prepared daily on the boat as we sail back to Playas del Coco.

This was greatest Sunset Sailing Cruise experience I've ever had. Wendy greeted us at the beach which was very nice. She gave us all the details about how to remain safe and what to expect when sailing. Dave and his crew were extremely courteous and provided us with everything we needed to enjoy every moment. All crew members were exceptionally knowledgeable of all the landmarks which provided us insight for future visits to Costa Rica. Dave and his crew kept our thirst quenched and provided us many different options for drinks. Additionally they provided us with fresh cut watermelon and pineapple that was amazing. The price of this trip was perfect and with all due respect, worth more!!! The crew navigated us through areas that gave us unbelievable pictures of whales, dolphins, schools of flying stingrays, and the most perfect sunset. We will definitely return to Costa Rica with a plan to book this sailing excursion again. Thank you Sea Bird Sailing Crew!!!This cruise was awesome!!! We wanted to get married out on this cruise at sunset, and they made it happen. Wendy went way above and beyond to make sure we had a cake, flowers and champagne and Dave memorized our script and was our officiant! The crew helped us out to pick the right spot to say our vows and the whole thing was amazing! Could not have turned out any better and could not have asked for anything more! We opted for the full-day private cruise. We had an amazing time! The crew was very kind, attentive, and knowledgable. I felt like I was on an episode of animal planet. When we arrived at a beach swim area, we had a family of white-faced monkeys come for a visit. Our kids were able to feed them some pineapple and we were all absolutely thrilled to get so up close and personal with the local wildlife. On our ride back into Playa Coco we saw a family of Dolphins chasing flying fish across the bay. When we arrived back there was a rainbow waiting for us. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this tour. If we are ever back in this area we would go again!! An amazing day -- we were 2 families with 4 teen-agers between us. Wendy, Dave and the crew made our day so perfect. We enjoyed a great sail to beautiful beach, with sea caves, a hike to view a cliff and plenty of snorkeling. Dave took the kids snorkeling and showed them fish, sea urchins and blue starfish. We had an incredible lunch served to us on the beach. On our way back we popped into another cove to visit another beach and along the way we just happened to catch a tuna - which Andre cut up and served to the crew -- freshest sashimi ever! 4 teen-agers + NO complaints + NO phones = PERFECTION! The sunset was truly a sight to behold -- if you are in the Playas del Coco area - do not miss this gem!The cruise was awesome! The cruise was awesome! I planned a three-week trip to Costa Rica with my girlfriend and thought I would use the time to get another small thing out of the way: our engagement! I let Wendy know in advance and she went ALL OUT to ensure that the day was special. I asked for a romantic setting and I was not disappointed. The flower shops in town were either out of flowers or overpriced, so Wendy offered to bring flowers from her garden for the occasion. It was a much-appreciated intimate touch! We set sail from the beach, drifting past beautiful oceanic views and monkey head island whilst sipping cocktails and enjoying freshly cut fruit. Just before the sunset, we went to the back of the boat to enjoy alone time in the hammocks while Wendy prepared the front of the boat for the surprise. Once I got the cue, we went to the front of the boat and were welcomed with a spread of flowers, champagne, and the ring that I had tucked away in my bag (I told Wendy where it was beforehand). Perfect execution! The unparalleled hospitality that Wendy, her husband, and their two crewmates exhibited was a great introduction to Costa Rica and especially to our new chapter in life.
