Day 1: Excursion to Ajanta Caves Full Day

India is a Buddhist monastery complex of twenty-nine rock-cut cave monuments containing paintings and sculpture considered to be masterpieces of both Buddhist religious art and universal pictorial art The caves are located just outside the village of Ajanta in Aurangabad District in the Indian state of Maharashtra Since 1983, the Ajanta Caves have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 2: Visit Ellora caves, Daulatabad Fort & Other Historical Sites (Full Day)

Ellora (also known as Elura and, in ancient times, as Elapura) is a sacred site in Maharastra, central India. The Ellora Caves are listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site

Stop At: Daulatabad Fort, Mh Sh 22, Daulatabad 431002 India
Located atop a hill, Daulatabad was built in the 14th century. Its first owner was Muhammad Bin Tughluq. The ruler forced people in Delhi to shift here, and so they did. But the people, after two years, abandoned it due to lack of water. The fort is 200 meters high and stands on a conical hill. The only entranceway for this fort is a narrow bridge that can be used only by two people at a time. Chand Minar, Chini Mahal, and Baradari are some most loved structures inside the fort. Chand Minar was erected by Alauddin Brahman Shah in 1435 AD.

Stop At: Valley of the Sufi Saints, Khuldabad Village, Aurangabad India
En route to the famed Ellora Caves, one passes through the fortified town of Khuldabad. The area has come to be known as the Valley of the Saints because of the many tomb shrines of the Chishti Sufi masters and saints that adorn the valley’s landscape. The shrine of Moinuddin Chishti of Khuldabad and the shrine of the Sufi saint Muntajib al-Din are located here. Apart from the tomb of the Sufi saints, the valley also hosts the tomb of Aurangzeb, the last great Mughal emperor, the Tomb of Asif Jah, the first Nizam of Hyderabad and the tomb of Tana Shan, the last king of Golconda.

Did You Know There's A Replica Of Taj Mahal In Aurangabad?
Azam Shah, son of Aurangzeb commissioned the construction of the monument to pay homage to his mother Begum Rabia Durani. It bears a striking resemblance to the famous Taj Mahal, the mausoleum of his grandmother, Mumtaz Mahal which is known ads Bibi ka Maqbara.

We agreed the booking over the phone, upon reaching Aurangabad we were received by courteous young driver early morning and taken to the hotel; we dropped our luggage and washed and commenced our trip to Ajanta, upon reaching to point were briefed by driver about how to go about, after we finished driver took us back to our hotel in Aurangabad, next day morning driver arrived punctually at agreed time and we did trip to Ellora, after finishing on our way back we did Daulatabad fort, Bibi ka Maqbara and later in night were dropped back to bus station to catch our coach to Mumbai.
