What to expect
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Great Barrier Reef, Great Barrier Reef, Queensland
Your guide for the day will accompany you to the Outer Great Barrier Reef, for a superb day of diving at pristine dive sites.
During the 90-minute journey to the reef, you will receive a detailed briefing on the diving procedures for the day; safety, and also on the reef and wildlife that you will see that day.
Underwater, enjoy a first-class experience, visiting 3 different sites, with your guide taking care of navigating the reef while pointing out all of the creatures and highlights along the way.
During the ride back to Port Douglas, we then have time to relive the best moments from the day, going through the fish books and logging the dives for you to look back on for years to come.

Scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef is a bucket list item for me, so while I was equal parts anxious and excited, my husband and I booked the “Introductory Dive” with SubaIQ. The owner, Martin, was extremely professional and confirmed our dive, requirements and preparations prior to our arrival in Port Douglas. From those communications, I knew we were in good hands. On the day of the dive, Martin briefed us and gave good instruction to prepare for our dives. Martin was incredibly patient with us and made the experience everything I thought it could be and MORE! I did my open water certification with him 5 years ago, and last week we went on a live-aboard he led for 5 days. The live-aboard experience was just incredible. Small groups, lots of attention from the crew, the most amazing dives, and wonderful food. Highly, highly recommend!Very professional team at ScubaIQ. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with another Diving Organisation in PD that cost me financially. Martin and the team were very helpful and took my Grandson through the Dive Course.
