We got to see a bear whilst there that lives on the mountain. Recommended
It was great being able to be picked up at the port and to spend the day exploring Vancouver and then dropped off at the airport. I’m not sure if the drivers name was Rob but if that’s his name, he was wonderful very informative. We enjoyed our trip very much.

I just took this tour on September 4, 2023 with Brandon (aka Brando) as the tour guide. First of all, let me compliment him on his driving skills AND his ability to communicate key facts about the area and to keep us on track for the day. The price is definitely worth it because it includes your admission tickets to two places that are quite expensive on their own. In other words, you aren't really paying all that much extra for the bus and driver (be sure to give your driver a tip if you enjoy your day). Now let's talk about the amazing things you'll experience. Our tour included a quick stop at a hatchery before we went to the two main attractions. Grouse Mountain includes a tram ride to the top of the mountain where I was completely surprised by the size of the park and the services provided. There is a wild bird education session that you'll want to see. Trainers talk about the birds and have them fly in front of the crowd. There are two grizzly bears kept in captivity there because they lost their mothers as cubs. This was the closest I've ever been to a grizzly so that was a real treat. The lumberjack show is a must-see. It's highly entertaining. And the park has plenty of bathrooms and food services if you need to take a break. Back in the bus we headed to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park which is just a few minute away from Grouse Mountain. It's hard to describe this park other than to say it is an engineering miracle of treehouses and bridges that you could walk for hours. And the surrounding nature is gorgeous - giant trees, lots of shade, beautiful caverns. The park has plenty of food-service and bathrooms. I had some ice cream that was a wonderful treat at the end of my two-hour visit. I would not recommend this particular park for anyone who has difficulty walking. The suspension bridge can move quite a bit and I can see how someone unsteady on their feet might fall down. But otherwise, this park is great for adults and kids! After disembarking our cruise with Holland America, we did the “Mountain Discovery” tour with Landsea. After disembarking our cruise with Holland America, we did the “Mountain Discovery” tour with Landsea. They picked us and our luggage up at the Canada Place / cruise ship terminal and from there we went to the Capilano Fish Hatchery, followed by the Suspension Bridge and finally on to Grouse Mountain Resort for the afternoon. Everything was perfect, from our friendly and efficient tour guide to transportation on a comfortable bus. They dropped us off at our hotel when it was over. Very much recommend this company. This was an excellent tour for our family of five before our cruise started. We really enjoyed the suspension bridges and Grouse mountain. Our guide was great, and our transfer to the cruise for embarkation seamless. I highly recommend!
