Portofino Kayak Tour
Overview
If you choose the Kayak & Snorkeling Tour, during the summer season, you can do a snorkeling guided tour by a local qualified guide and instructor.
Before leaving, enjoy some time on the beach while tasting organic local wine and traditional food from Liguria.
All skill levels welcome.

What to expect
In company of a kayak instructor and marine guide, paddle along the coast from Paraggi to the picturesque port of Portofino and beyond to the Olivetta and the Lighthouse. Get captured by the charm of these areas rich in history and curiosity. At the foot of the lighthouse where nature gets more "wild", a refreshing dip in front of the breathtaking landscape is an experience not to be missed.
We offer 3 different options, depending of the period of the year and with two different starting date.
The meeting is in Niasca Bay, via Duca degli Abruzzi 62 Portofino, twenty minutes before the start of the activity.

- Be able to swim is required to do this tour
- Recommended to bring with you: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, bathing suit, comfortable shoes (sneakers) or neoprene boots, towel
- Requesting a private tour, you will be charged an additional price of €150
- Near public transportation
- The nautical base is equipped with lockers, available for our customers according to availability. We strongly suggest not to bring valuable items; the staff does not take responsibility for any loss.
- In the nearby bay of Paraggi you may find basic services: tabacco shop, bar, restaurant, toilets (toilets not present in our office).
- *Respect the environment! Bring your water bottle and fill it up with potable water at our office.

- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 4 days of travel. In this case confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability

It was very easy to book this trip, we were provided with all nesseary information before the trip ( what we should bring with us and how to find the school’s office, and they also sent us reminders about our reservation). I thought this experience was so amazing. I did the tour that involved the hour and a half of kayaking, half hour of snorkeling, and apertivo (snack) at the end. Our tour guide was kind, accommodating, and helpful. He pointed out some really cool stuff we could see as we snorkeled and he took the kayak group at a pace that worked for everyone. The equipment was in good shape, the water was beautiful, and the food and wine was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised that we had underwater photos taken of us and they were posted less than a day later!! I would recommend this to those of all ages and any experience level. It does require a decent amount of physical endurance, to kayak for that period of length, but you do not need to be the most fit or be an expert. Just be prepared to deal with big waves whenever a larger boat comes by. The views are worth it!We were lucky enough to end up with a private family trip for 4 (2A 2 teens). We were lucky enough to end up with a private family trip for 4 (2A 2 teens). We had a fantastic trip guided by the excellent Giuseppe, who also doubles as your photographer. Great way to spend the morning & great views of Portofino without the crowds. No messing around, straight out onto the water so you get the full 90 minutes plus out on the kayaks. Topped off by snorkelling off the beach where there is loads to see.
This was an awesome experience! Such a unique way to see the area. Make sure to go to the bathroom before zipping into your wet suit!

I was traveling alone with my 4 year old and thought this would be fun, but wasn't sure that my daughter could handle it. I emailed them and they set up a custom tour that was shorter for us and included the focaccia snack and drink at the end. It was exactly what my daughter could handle. Our guide was awesome and pointed out many interesting things about the area. He also talked quite a bit with my daughter as she had MANY questions. They were always very easy to contact and answered any questions I had leading up to the tour.
