Visit the world-renowned and oldest International Rose Test Garden in the U.S. created way back in 1917! Take time to smell the roses and wander through the various fascinating attractions of famous Washington Park. Revel in the beauty, color and enchanting fragrance of over 10, 000 individual rose bushes representing over 650 different varieties of this! Portland is known as the "City of Roses", thanks in part to this incredible display of nature's beautiful bounty.

Walk through the ornate grounds of the historic Pittock Mansion, built in an impressive French Renaissance nouveau style by one of Portland’s first titans of industry back in 1914. Take in the best panoramic view of both West & East Portland from the lofty hillside that offers breath-taking vistas of our surrounding snow-capped volcanoes, the Willamette River, downtown Portland and sprawling temperate rainforest stretching to the horizon and beyond!

Pass by this iconic lush green space lining the banks of the Willamette River filled with cherry trees, bikers, scooters, runners, walkers, lovers and commuters. Marvel in the resulting beauty and tranquility of the largest urban freeway removal projects in the U.S.

Pass By: Northwest 23rd Avenue, NW 23rd Ave, Portland, OR 97210, USA

Cruise down this trendy and hip happenin' hot spot of culture, boutiques, bars and restaurants. One very famous cartoon actually got the names of many of the characters from this pedestrian friendly neighborhood. Can you guess which one? Your guide will quiz you!

Pass By: Ladd's Addition, Between Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard and Division Street from 12th to 20th avenues, Portland, OR 97214

Enjoy an informative drive through the friendly and bohemian neighborhoods of SE Portland filled with 100's of funky bars, micro-breweries galore, classy cuisine, food carts, music venues, art galleries, cafes, coffee shops and charming streets lined with old growth Elms and historic homes. This is where every savvy visitor to Portland ends up spending some of their most memorable moments... livin' it up, exploring the colorful Hawthorne, Division and Belmont neighborhoods while chatting with the welcoming locals! Simply put, Southeast is the place to be!

Pass by this incredible museum of hands on discovery, scientific adventure and fascinating rotating exhibits from around the world. Lucky guests can even participate in an over-21 late night visual and auditory transcendental experience at the world class Omnimax theater, which shows everything from surfing documentaries to laser light shows to Hubble deep field space telescope imagery of the origins of the cosmos...all set to music and light shows that dazzle the senses and expand the mind!

This sprawling 400-acre crown jewel of the Portland Parks Department reveals an impressive array of hidden gems; such as the Hoyt Arboretum (a living museum of 2, 300 different species of trees and wild hiking trails!), the Oregon Zoo, The World Forestry Center, The Children's Museum, The Japanese Gardens, The International Rose Test Gardens and some of the most spectacular views of the city from the dramatic hills of the Tualatin Mountains (West Hills). There is literally a lifetime of discovery in this one park!
