This fairy tale small watermill village will give you the first insight into historic Croatia, but also a sneak peak for what’s to come in Plitvice. We will spend enough time here for you to look around the village and take some photos before heading back to the van towards the national park.

- If you can, bring sportswear and comfortable closed/hiking shoes... lots of walking!
- Your guide will be available to assist you throughout the entire trip and guide you through the park.
- Approx. 8.5km (5.3mil) walk is the length of the walking tour in the park (highseason). You will see all the highlights, and don’t worry there are no big inclines so it’s an enjoyable walk.
- Some of the park may be restricted and is weather dependent.
- This tour will still operate in all weather conditions.
- Please note that from November 1st through March 31st, only Lower Lakes can be visited, and depending on weather conditions, the train and electric boats do not operate.

I couldn’t recommend this trip enough. Iva was engaging, knowledgable and and excellent tour guide. It felt that we spent just the right amount of time in each place and Iva was able to share interesting facts at each stage. All the logistics were fantastic and it was well priced.

Wow what a magical experience! Scenery that will take your breath away and leave you with memories to last a lifetime. If you’re visiting Zagreb this tour isn’t to be missed! We visited on February 21st (out of season so not crowded) but we were fortunate that we had beautiful sunshine so were able to walk amongst the waterfalls and lakes on the footpaths that intertwine the lakes. The sunshine, the remnants of snow and the mist from the waterfalls cast rainbows which was just out of this world. Borjan our tour guide was a true professional and had exceptional knowledge of Croatian history and culture. He paced the tour perfectly and ensured we had plenty of photo opportunities and rest breaks. The stop in the picturesque town of Rastoke was an amazing added bonus. Thank you so much for a day we will never forget, Lily and Dom. (PS. We look forward to welcoming you to the British Lake District in the future)Henna_K

Absolutely fantastic tour. Lucy was our guide. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. We had a small group of 6 which was an ideal size. The trip itself was excellent. We were so lucky with the weather. Even though it was snowy, we were able to experience the boat ride...

We were so lucky with the weather. Even though it was snowy, we were able to experience the boat ride. The scenery was breathtaking. The walking conditions were fine. As there was snow on the ground, Lucy ensured our safety was paramount. I would certainly recommend this tour, especially in the winter months as no crowds.XCtravels86

Being extremely knowledgeable on the lakes, history and other general knowledge, the guide made the trip enjoyable and informative one! Another plus of this tour was the fact that Bojan knows the best locations to stop at.. And that allowed us to visits all the lakes within our stipulated time frame! Btw when it comes to photos he got you sorted.. You will get a photo session along the tour with this guy!! Finally pathfinder also recommend some good reasaurants in zagreb which we visited during our holiday and we're satisfied. Pathfinder team keep it up.. And thank you!
