As the tour name suggests this is an ideal opportunity to familiarize yourself with your holiday island and take in the islands natural beauty as we drive along the beach roads through Patong, Karon, Kata and Rawai. For fabulous photo opportunities we will stop at the Karon viewpoint and cultural sights such as the sacred buddhist temple of Phuket Wat Chalong.
Phuket town offers an interesting mix of architecture including Sino - Portuguese. This town has been the backdrop for many western movies as it is said to be very similar to Indochina.

10:00 : Depart from your hotel. Visit Karon View Point - visit the point to admire the panoramic view from the top of the hill. Views of Kata Noi, Karon beaches, and Kata Yai are easily available from this spot. Locally called as Khao Saam Haad meaning Three Beaches Hill, Karon Viewpoint is the most photographed location in Phuket and is an iconic vista featuring sparkling blue sea, snow-white surf, white-sand beaches, the nearby exotic island Koh Pu, and the deep green hues of Phuket’s hillsides. Karon viewpoint is a must visit place in Phuket.

11:30 : Big Buddha Phuket - is one of the most important and revered landmarks on the island. The huge image sits on top of the Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata and, at 45 metres tall, can be seen from as far away as Phuket Town and Karon Beach.

13:00 : Then visit Wat Chalong, Phuket’s most beautiful and renowned monastery. It enshrines the gilt statues of monk-hero Luang Pho Chaem and his assistant Luang Pho Chuang, both much revered by local people because of their roles in quelling the miner rebellion in 1876.
13:00 : Cashew nut factory - A tour of a cashew nut factory in Phuket is a must for cashew nutlovers. The Cashew nut is a native produce that is grown in Phuket and other provinces of Southern Thailand, and are relatively cheap compared to prices in Western countries.

We have done this tour while in Phuket before but decided to do it again, as it’s such a great tour to experience all of Phuket’s highlights. Our tour guide was great and was always there to help take photos of us with the main subject in the background. We first visited Karon View Point which has panoramic views from the top of the hill. We then visited the Big Buddha which is absolutely amazing and one of the biggest landmarks in Phuket. Next stop was Wat Chalong Buddhist Temple, which is so beautiful, and a must see. Then it was a quick stop at the cashew factory to sample and buy some cashew products before going to the ever beautiful Old Phuket Town. Such an amazing day and definitely recommend this tour.Carlene_B

We had a good experience with private tours from our previous trip in Fiji where the tour itinerary was catered to our needs/interests. We had a good experience with private tours from our previous trip in Fiji where the tour itinerary was catered to our needs/interests. But this time it felt like they were really pushing excursions that were not included in the original itinerary. To some, it may be a bonus to get to do an ATV tour or go to Tiger Kingdom but we were neither prepared nor interested in these activities. They still took us to the ATV site but we awkwardly declined and walked away. They also took us to a gem store which at first seemed like an educational experience but quickly turned to a selling point where they take you from counter to counter showing you different items—again this may be of interest to some as the price points are likely better compared to back home. Our tour guide, Fa, was very knowledgeable and pleasant during our tour. Just a tip—make sure to bring lunch or you may overspend at the cashew factory when you’re shopping on an empty stomach lol. Our favorite part of the tour was probably the local food spot Fa recommended in Phuket Town called Lock Tien. Seriously some of the best Thai food we had all trip! All in all, still a good tour just expect to be taken to other stops or maybe make it known to them from the beginning where u want/don’t want to go. I’d still take this tour vs getting Grab ride shares to all the major stops because we learned a lot.Basia03

What a fun day exploring Phuket! Daisy was very communicative the day before pickup and the driver arrived on time. Beautiful new air conditioned van, even large water provided on this hot day! Great photo opportunities! A bargain to get introduced to Phuket for first timers like us!
