The one-day tour departing at 7.30 am and back at 4.00 pm provides several stages, including the most famous and important: Maya Bay, Bamboo Island, Monkey Beach and many others.

Pla was a great host with endless enthusiasm and great knowledge of the islands her English was amazing and took endless photos for us. We’re just back from our day’s Phi Phi Island Tour. As always, we did a lot of research and cross referencing - and in the end decided on VIP because of its great reviews and the fact it was a smaller tour. We couldn’t have wished for a better day (and in fact today’s been the best day of the trip so far). From the ease of arranging to pickup at our hotel, everything ran smoothly. Okay, maybe it’s pricier than your average tour but this isn’t your average tour. There were only four of us on the trip and our guide Pooky looked after us like we were all royalty. Friendly and knowledgeable, he adapted the trip to our needs and was fun to be around. He also knew exactly when to arrive at each island so we missed the crowds (and when you see the big boats of tourists you’re utterly thankful that you’re not on that tour...) The islands themselves - Bamboo, Phi Phi Leh Lagoon, Phi Phi Don coves and beaches and Monkey Island - were all so stunning, like something out of a movie (and many have been used in movies). Reality is often not as good as our imaginations - and this case, the trip surpassed what we could have dreamed of. We snorkelled, had a seriously tasty lunch (and all went back for seconds) took incredible photos, swam, lounged on deserted beaches... This was a once-in-a-lifetime day. Book book book. We had a fantastic tour of the Phi Phi islands on a semi-private tour, with only 10 people on the boat. This made for a much more luxury and amazing experience compared to some of the overcrowded boats we saw. Our tour guide was Joy (I hope I have that correct), and they made sure to visit all of the sites at times outside the times that the main tourist boats arrive to make a much quieter experience with less crowds. Lunch was absolutely perfect. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the Phi Phi islands away from the mega crowded boats.The guide was fantastic in his knowledge of bringing us to places not known to other tours.
