Had a really good time with these guys, they really made me feel like family. They accommodated for my vegetarianism and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and a little drunk by the end, not going to lie.

Diana and Patricio are very nice hosts and they have a lot of knowledge about the Peruvian cuisine. The trip to the market was very nice but a bit in a hurry. We would liked to spent more time at this nice market. The cooking class was very nice to. Patricio gave us a lot of info about the products he is using. He didn't speak English but Diana can translate everything. It's also cool that the cooking class is at there home so you can see how people live here. The food was awesome delicious!! If you want to learn more about the Peruvian cuisine this cooking class is a must do!This was way beyond anything that you could learn from a cookbook. Quite spontaneously I've booked the cooking classes for the next day. You can choose between different dishes and there are also options for vegetarians. I was in the lucky situation to get a private class and had the full attention of both of my hosts, Diana and Patricio. We went to a local market where Diana made me taste some local food. When we arrived back at the house Patricio had everything prepared for starting the cooking class. He explained me a lot about the ingredients and left me tasting them in different preparation states. Have been working as a chef for many years, he has a big knowledge. The cooking itself was a lot of fun. I've tried techniques I've never done before and everything was showed me very well. The food was amazing! At the end I've received a little brochure with all the recipes. Diana and Patricio are really passionate and do a great job. I totally recommend them!I surprised my boyfriend with this cooking class for his birthday and Diana went above and beyond to make it a great experience (including getting a cake with candles for us to blow out at the end). I surprised my boyfriend with this cooking class for his birthday and Diana went above and beyond to make it a great experience (including getting a cake with candles for us to blow out at the end). We learned so much from Patricio about the food we prepared, and he taught us to make the best ceviche and lomo saltado I've eaten in Peru (and we've eaten a lot!) The food alone is reason enough to do this class but they added extra touches like gifts and videos from the class. Highly recommend.
