We did this tour on a rainy day so it was muddy but lots of fun! The stops were interesting and we got to try local salt and pepper. The landscape was beautiful and our guide very knowledgeable and friendly. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. :) The team at the pepper farm also went above and beyond to make sure our trip was comfortable. We love Butterfly Tours and would recommend them to everyone!I got lucky because I was the only one to book the tour. Highly recommend Butterfly Tours for anyone looking to discover Kampot. I took a full day tour by bike with Chenda who was extremely knowledgeable about everything we saw that day which included salt farms, rice paddies and Phmom Chhnork. The day is designed well with a pit stop by the secret lake where you can eat delicious food and nap on a hammock. The cycle to the pepper farm was difficult but worth it and Chenda was encouraging and stopped for water regularly. Will 100% use Butterfly Tours in my next destinations. Given how hot it is in Kampot at the moment we opted to do this tour on a Tuk Tuk- making it a half day one. Our guide Chenda was brilliant, knowledgable and his English was fantastic. Our driver for the morning expertly navigated some difficult roads and drove really safely. Our highlights were the cave and the beautiful secret lake! A must do and a great way to explore Kampot 😊We took a full-day bike tour with Chenda as our guide - absolutely excellent! The bicycles are in good working order - mountain bikes with front shocks. We took a full-day bike tour with Chenda as our guide - absolutely excellent! The bicycles are in good working order - mountain bikes with front shocks. The trip is given for 50km. I can’t say exactly how far we went, but for people moderately in shape, it’s a fun ride - mostly flat with lots of shock-testing potholes 😎 The rhythm is perfect - 5km, then a visit with a longer break at lunch and a longer stretch riding back. The visits are all interesting - salt farm, cave temple and pepper farm (my favorite!). You’re doing a circuit similar to others, but cycling in between - a source of pride when it’s hot out! Lunch was one of the best we’ve had in Cambodia. The tour is a great way to get close to authentic Cambodia. Definitely do this!
