We purchased tickets for skip the line entry to the palace. Don’t do it because it’s not working. Once we got to our destination we were told there is no such thing. We bought the entry tickets and not the trip as they were all booked up. Otherwise the palace is a great place to visit but be prepared for long lines and being stuck like sardines in a can for the interior part of the palace.This was one of the best private tours taken in Portugal. If you want privacy, an expert private guide and to beat the crowds this is the best tour possible. Go early in the morning, start by Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira and then Sintra. These places are very rich in history and traditions.

Hugo was extremely well informed, knew his history and was unfailingly polite and helpful. The sites themselves were fascinating, my partner loved the palace and I loved the gardens and follies. So something for us both. Highly recommended!
