The cruise to an from Pearl Island was wonderfully relaxing. Boarding and exiting the ferry was made easy by the staff, who helped a member of our party who has mobility issues, with confidence and skill. They were very, very kind. The island was clean and welcoming, easy to navigate, and the food was delicious. Scheduling the snorkel times was not made clear, yet we managed to get it done! The return trip was interesting and well narrated. Definitely would recommend!!Ferry ride was nice and beach was pretty. Ferry ride was nice and beach was pretty. However location ran out of towels, ran out of drinks at the bar & ran out of food. Was told lunch would be served at 1:30 but ran out of food by 1:40. Waited in line for staff to replenish food which happened at 2:30 leaving very little time to enjoy the beach. Did not expect 1 hour of my excursion to stand in line waiting for food to be cooked. I traveled with young kids and thought chairs with shade were provided on the beach but it’s above the beach with flowers in front so could not see the beach while sitting. Wasn’t relaxing like I had planned. Overall experience was ok but I was pretty underwhelmed.Going to Pearl Island was such a great experience! The water is so clear and beautiful. My family and I had the opportunity to try out snorkeling and kayaking. The food was delicious! The service was excellent. This excursion is a must. I didn't want to leave.

My husband said it well: lipstick on a pig. This place is run down. The beach areas are very, very small. The lunch was scary. It was sitting in warming trays since our arrival at 8:45 am and eaten at 11:30 and after. Baked chicken legs sitting in barbeque sauce, WARM cold slaw, seasoned rice and fried fish pieces. Not tasty and I stopped eating the cole slaw due to it's warm temp. Staff remained in the buildings. They could have greeted us, asked if we needed anything. They did not speak when approached except for the bar tenders. Bar drinks were good and fairly priced. The concrete paths could have had the sand swept or blown off. Half the ladies bathroom stalls had broken door locks and some sinks did not work. No soap at the sinks. One soap container was highly diluted with water. Skip this place. Not worth the price at all. The owner should visit and experience the place.the staff we nice and they had the standard lunch, but drinks expensive and not worth the money spent for this excursion. the staff we nice and they had the standard lunch, but drinks expensive and not worth the money spent for this excursion. The beach is tiny with no chairs actually on the beach. We never did find the second "white sand beach", and so glad I didn't do the cabana, would have really been disappointed. My husband did the snorkel but it was timed and guided, and many other boats bringing passengers over to the same area so not cool with boat traffic.
