The lesson is in English and Italian, but don't worry if you speak other languages that I don't know, we will be able to understand each other while we make pasta together!

I would recommend Garzia's cooking class to anyone visiting Bologna or any place nearby. It was probably the best money I have spent on my trip in Italy!! Grazia was a beautiful hostess and teacher. She delights in others making memories. She puts her heart into her cooking and her guests. I learned immediately from her ways that will make me a more effective cook by attending to the small details. My mother and I plan to buy pasta machines as soon as we get home. The recipes she chose to teach us was incredible, tortellini and pasta bolognese. I'm sure it was her special family recipes (which she shares) and the freshness of the homemade pasta. This was truly the highlight of our trip. To be invited into someone's home is a special gift. While in Italy we visited seven different cities and Bologna was one of our family's favorite cities because of Grazia's cooking class. Grazia is a delightful person who instantly makes you feel like family. She patiently instructed us on the art of making pasta which resulted in the most delicious pasta. Her techniques kept the three children engaged and comfortable as they learned. We left her house feeling confident we would be able to make pasta when we returned home. Her place is a bit outside the main city center and the entrance is not obvious, but Grazia was very communicative via WhatsApp and came down to meet us at the street. Absolutely would recommend.
