Stop At: Louvre Museum, 99 Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris France
You will meet your guide at the Equestrian Statue of King Louis XIV in front of the Louvre’s iconic pyramid structure. There, they will whisk you into the museum to visit all of the star attractions such as the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, the statue Winged Victory of Samothrace, or Liberty Leading the People by Eugène Delacroix. Alternatively, you can enjoy intimate viewings and explanations of lesser-known gems among the vast exhibitions.
This tour is private for your group – meaning whether you are one person or six people maximum – you will have a knowledgeable guide with you throughout the museum, tailoring the experience to your desire.

From the moment we entered the dungeon, I was entranced by the physical immensity of the structure. We had a *fabulous* private guide, Julien, whose passion for the nuances of art enhanced our experience profoundly--the differences between schools of painting, between artists of the same school, between the masters and the apprentices ... Astonishing. Also, my husband and I both were both more entranced by The Wedding Feast at Cana than we were by the Mona Lisa hanging on the opposite wall, and more than Winged Liberty. We both were slack-jawed throughout. I could use an entire season to study piece by piece and still not give each painting and sculpture its due!We had a wonderful tour of the Louvre Museum. Our guide, David, was full of great information and showed us so much. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had been to the Louvre before, but the tour with David made it so much more meaningful. It was great.
