Stop At: Vatican City, Vatican City, Lazio

Following your guide, navigate the crowd to reach your seat, where you’ll have views of the pope when he arrives. While you wait, learn a bit about the history of the papacy in Rome and hear about Renaissance artists like Michelangelo who left such a beautiful mark on the Vatican. With your audio headset, you don’t have to worry about not being able to hear your guide over the throngs of people.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: St. Peter's Square, Piazza San Pietro, 00120 Vatican City Italy
As the address starts, listen to the cardinals leading pilgrims in prayer, and watch the pope deliver his blessings for the week. The service includes hymns, prayers and a homily. When the address is over, you'll be ready to explore St Peter’s Square on your own.
Although Papal Audience tickets are free, organizing your own can be a difficult process. We cut out the hassle by reserving your invitation for you, picking it up and bringing it to the meeting point. Then we lead you inside with plenty of time to secure a good place to see the Pope as he makes his way to the stage.

Also, after reflection, this price is an absolute scam!! It’s free entry and the most they help you do is go with you through line and give you a bit of background. YOU DO NOT NEED THESE PEOPLE AT ALL. Get there early and you can get good front row seats anyway.Great experience. Our guide was terrific. We got close to the Pope. He was within five feet of us. Our seats were nearly perfect and the view of the mass was excellent.

The guide showed no knowledge of timings expected. After meeting at 0730 he took us on a meandering walk and then into the basilica which involved a security line. There is nothing in the description about having a tour and we worried about timing as we had already seen a very long line. Several tour members asked repeatedly about the timing required to get in the audience line. He kept changing the times, saying it started around 10am. He finally took us to the queue and we had to push in. We finally got into the audience hall at 09.30 and the Pope was already present and we missed the whole segment in English. We ended up with seats right at back. The guide admitted this was the first time he had done it in 2 years. He also didn’t seem to realise how busy it would be as it was Holy Week. I have requested a full refund. We didn’t get the chance to do this activity due to the pandemic. I sent a request to Viator to re-boo/cancel but to no avail. I am disappointed!!!!

Visited Papal Audience on Ash Wednesday. It was an extremely spiritual experience. Th Holy Father, though clearly not well, walked among the crowds and spent a significant amount of time engaging with the audience . Please remember tickets are free and don't be tempted to 'buy' tickets from any sources. We also applied and received tickets for the Papal Mass at the Basilica of Santa Sabina, which was a smaller church meaning that you felt you were totally involved in the service.
