Our driver was wonderful: very accommodating and full of information about Paris and life in France in general. When we told him the castle cafe was closed, Susan brought us to the town Chantilly where we could pick from several food venues so we were delighted to have authentic desserts with aut...
Our driver was wonderful: very accommodating and full of information about Paris and life in France in general. When we told him the castle cafe was closed, Susan brought us to the town Chantilly where we could pick from several food venues so we were delighted to have authentic desserts with authentic Chantilly creme. And the castle gardens and museums were magnificent! We saw the famous manuscript the Tres Riches Heures, my personal highlight, and my family enjoyed the Living Horse museum and equitation exhibition (warning: it’s in French:). Definitely something for everyone!
