Pafos and Kourion - Coach Tour from Protaras, Ayia Napa and Larnaca ENGLISH
Overview
A full day trip that will take you to the western end of Cyprus and back in time to the ancient Greek civilization and its' rich history and mythology. Visit Kourion and the House of Eustolios with its mosaics and bath establishments, one of the most important archaeological sites on the island. Next stop is the town of Paphos, where you will have the chance to visit the House of Dionysos with it's famous and unique mosaics (entrance fee for the House of Dionysos is not included in the price - 4.5 euros) and enjoy the area surrounding the picturesque Paphos harbor. On the way back visit Geroskipou Village, were you can taste and buy the traditional "Cyprus delights". Final stop is at the "Petra tou Romiou", the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite the Goddess of love and beauty.
Return to Larnaka is about 17:00, Ayia Napa and Protaras - about 18:00.

It was a good experience. Lot of free time given at each attraction. difficult to recognize the tour bus as the meeting point is a bus station and there are lot of buses.

This was a nice day tour, I enjoyed it. Julia was so nice, friendly and helpful. I wish the tombs of the Kings were also included in the trip. The driver did not stop at my morning pick up location on the way back, told me he stopped earlier (hence my 4 stars). I had to ask the driver to let me ...

The driver did not stop at my morning pick up location on the way back, told me he stopped earlier (hence my 4 stars). I had to ask the driver to let me get off at the earliest opportunity. This made me a bit anxious and stressed as I was travelling solo and didn't know the area very well (how was I supposed to know that the driver stopped earlier than my actual stop!!). Please take this into account in your future trips! Thankssusan_l

The tour guide was very good, informative and entertaining. Enough time spent at each location and enough comfort breaks. Comfortable air conditioned coach, thank goodness as it was a very hot day.

Great guide! Maria knows her stuff and has a great sense of humour. We enjoyed this tour - there could have been more time to roam ancient Kourion as that was quite rushed, but it was a bit hot to be walking around which the guide mentioned. Stopped off at Aphrodite’s rock from a distance for a ...
Great guide! Maria knows her stuff and has a great sense of humour. We enjoyed this tour - there could have been more time to roam ancient Kourion as that was quite rushed, but it was a bit hot to be walking around which the guide mentioned. Stopped off at Aphrodite’s rock from a distance for a photo opportunity but it would have been nice to have stopped closer to it. We stopped at the Tombs of the kings as well. This was a unesco site so good to see but I’d rather have spent more time with the mosaics (below). After we moved onto the mosaics which were beautiful and interesting as Maria gave us the stories of the Greek myths. We then had free time to go around Paphos harbour. We got lunch and there are lots of places to choose from. Had enough time to visit Paphos castle. A lot of it was locked up which was a shame but there’s an interactive screen as you enter - would be nice to have that as a take away guide. You get nice views of paphos from the top. All in all, it was a long day and journey but Maria was really interesting, giving information throughout the bus tour.Dionne_V
