Hands-on to make the most famous dish from Spain! Learn how to make your own paella and bring back home the taste of Spain. After a small ride around the lovely vineyards of the Alt-Penedes and a tour of an ancient winery, you will be given a class on how to make the chosen paella. A fun and delicious experience, it combines tasty and fresh Paella, a bit of cycling, and lots of fun!

What to expect
You will be able to choose between 4 different types of paella:
– Seafood paella: The best known in the world. Prawns, calamari, squid and fish. This one is a classic in every Spanish household!
– Meat paella: A mix of different meats are added to the rice along with the spices and lots of love.
– Vegetarian paella: For veggies lovers, seasonal mix vegetables and a strong vegetable broth to give the rice the best taste.
– Black paella: This type of paella is more unknown to travelers. Made with rice with squid and its ink. It is served with a garlic sauce made of egg, oil, salt, and garlic. You cannot resist it!

Can’t rave enough about Easy Cycling Sitges! It was an unforgettable experience for my husband and me! Admittedly, I was initially scared I’d pass out as I am no spring chicken, but the roads were mostly flat and it really was exhilarating. The terrain was absolutely stunning! Before cooking we took a brief wine tour of a lovely family winery. We learned how they make cava and it was so interesting. Since biking really works the appetite, we were then more than ready to learn how to make paella. The vegetarian paella was so delicious and it really hit the spot after our bike ride. Paella has such a beautiful presentation that it was so surprising how deceptively easy it is to make. Alex is a host-extraordinaire! He has a charming, fun personality and makes you feel at-home. It honestly felt like spending a day with family. I highly recommend Easy Cycling Sitges! You won’t regret it!Lots of fun. Alex was fantastic! He was on-time for our pick up and was knowledgeable about the Sitges area. The biking portion was beautiful! And it was a relatively easy ride. We appreciated our pit stop for some local wine and olives. It also gave us a chance to get to know the others in our group. The tour of the winery very informative and interesting. We were able to sample several different cavas. The making of the paella was the best!! He showed us step by step, and even involved a couple of people from our group. The final product was so good!! It has inspired us to make paella at home! We highly recommend this excursion!!The day was hot and the ride was harder than expected but we had a great time riding through the vineyard.
