What to expect
During your 2 days with us, you will learn all about self rescue skills and how to deal with unresponsive / unconscious divers both underwater and on the surface.
The first day the skills are shown either in the local bay of Amadores or in the onsite pool.
Day 2 we head to Amadores Beach and complete the 2 Rescue scenarios.
Additional information
- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive
- Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Stroller accessible
- Near public transportation
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Face masks required for travelers in public areas
- Face masks required for guides in public areas
- Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff
- Transportation vehicles regularly sanitized

I just finished a full Rescue diver + EFR + Divemaster internship in a month, and I could not have asked for a better training ! First, communicating and sorting out logistics with Kate was always easy and clear. She really cares about customers and interns, is always understanding, and will figure out a solution for almost everything. Then the quality of the training itself : Chris not only gave me an excellent and thorough Divemaster training, he went well beyond that, and taught me many professional aspects of diving that I'd probably never have had elsewhere. The rest of the team is equally amazing, I had a great time with the other instructors and Divemasters ! Finally, the center has impeccable equipment and very high standards of maintenance and safety. The diving spots are all different and adapted to all levels of skills, from absolute beginner to professional or tec diving.We’ve been diving with Chris & Kate for a couple of years. We’ve been diving with Chris & Kate for a couple of years. Each time it has been a great experience and we keep coming back to them every time we are on vacation on Gran Canaria. What we appreciate particularly is the team’s attention to safety and personal/individual approach to every client. This time we did Rescue Diving and Peak Performance Buoyancy courses. Both very enjoyable. Particularly the latter, which was simply fantastic and improved our technique considerably.
