For certified divers .
Our dive sites are only minutes away from our shop. We'll be able to dive the second largest barrer reef in the world, The Mesoamerican barrier reef. We start off with a detailed briefing about the dive site and diving procedures, followed by a fun boat ride to the dive site, where the boat crew and your instructor or dive master will help you put your gear on, once the diving team is ready to enter the water, your instructor or dive master will indicate when to do a back-roll entry, once in the water, your instructor or dive master will check your equipment ones again to make sure you have no leaks and to make sure that all of your equipment is in the right place. And finally go down and enjoy the beautiful Caribbean waters with its amazing and colorful flora and fauna. No hurries, No big crowds with us. Private and/or small groups only ( 4 divers max).

Maravillosa experiencia con Pepe Dive Mahahual. Equipazo liderado fantásticamente por Chano y Vanesa y muy bien acompañado por todo el resto de su equipo: Jarge, Raul, Pablo y Laura, mi súper instructora con la que tuve la suerte de bautizarme y bajar un par de veces más a esa maravilla de arrecife que es Mahahual. Sin duda súper experiencia, 101% recomendable por mi parte. Muchas gracias por haberme echo sentir tan bien y tan protegido en el arrecife, volveré cuanto antes. Nach dem Spießrutenlauf durch Läden.. Taxis.. Restaurants und ähnlichem sind wir auf seine Hütte gestoßen. Nicht wundern ist wirklich eine Hütte aber für den Zweck völlig ausreichend. Alex duikt met een groep van maximaal 4 personen. Alles gaat in een rustig tempo en hij zorgt ervoor dat iedereen zich op z'n gemak voelt. Veiligheid is heel belangrijk. Je kan zien dat hij echt geniet van zijn werk. De duiken waren super, mooie plek om te duiken. Hij heeft ons ook geholpen met het regelen van duiken bij banco chinchorro, kwam ons zelfs nog veel plezier wensen. Echt een aanrader voor duiken in Mahahual.Bucear en Mahahual es una experiencia increíble y única, y más si lo hacen con Alux divers. I found Alux Divers (pronounced Alush) somewhat through good luck. My wife wanted to spend the morning at Mahahual Beach during a recent cruise ship stop at Costa Maya/Mahahual, and Alux Divers was next door. After checking reviews of Alux Divers on TripAdvisor, I decided to give them a try. What a great decision! I found everything about Alux Divers to be outstanding, from my first contact with Alex, the dive shop owner, to the actual dives, I could not have asked for a better dive experience during my one day cruise stop in Costa Maya. Alux Divers is a small, extremely professional, customer and safety oriented dive shop that will give you great dives, whether you are a new or highly experienced diver. Thankfully, Alex's dive boat is not a "cattle boat," having comfortable space for perhaps 6-8 divers. We had four divers on board for my two tank dive, did a standard back roll entry for the dives, and removed the dive equipment in the water before reboarding. Alex structured the dives based on my desires, experience level, and nothing was rushed or cut short to meet a timetable. Dive sites were close enough to enable the boat to return to the beach in front of the dive shop for a relaxing surface interval. Although I had my own equipment, a student diver with the other instructor was using Alux Divers rental gear, and it appeared to be in excellent shape. I would not hesitate to use or recommend Alex and Alux Divers for any future trips or for all divers.What a great dive! It was just me and the dive master, Sebastion. What a great dive! It was just me and the dive master, Sebastion. This was my first roll back entry from a boat, a task I had only just practiced in a refresher course I took prior to vacation. This sea turtle kept swimming in and around us and tried to bite my GoPro. Also saw a remora that came from the surface to check us out, but no sharks :-( I would definitely dive with this operation again.
