What to expect
No prior experience with scuba diving is required.
If you wish to try scuba diving but are not ready to take the course or just have an afternoon to enjoy, then the PADI Discover Scuba Diving is for you. This quick and easy introduction to scuba diving will take you to some of our most famous sites in Isla Mujeres. A perfect place to take your first “plunge” with ideal conditions for making this a dive a life-changing experience.
At 10mt/33ft depth, visibility up to 30mt/100ft visibility and an average water temperature of 27ºc/80ºf the Manchones National Park offers the most incredible conditions for the new diver.
Your first dive will be at the famous MUSA where you can see over 400 statues sunk for diving purposes.
Then your second dive, when you are more comfortable and ready to dive a reef, will be on the magnificent Manchones Reef where it is not uncommon to see turtles, rays, eels, and a huge variety of marine life.

Unforgetable experience with the dive team at Poc Na dive Center. The crew was amazing and human. Shout out to our capitain Wualo, the photographer Malek and our instructor Roberto. Each had a friendly yet safe approach for the dive. It was my first time diving and I was a little nervous. I had a little panic underwater but Roberto was there to calm me, helped me breathe properly and i was able to continue the dive. I felt safe and in good hands. Awesome experience! My family of 3 did an intro dive with PADI Dive Master (Pepe) and photo/videographer (Malek). The dive preparation (video, written test, and skills test in the pool) was professionally delivered, making the transition to the actual dive easy and comfortable. We dove two locations, MUSA and Grafton Park Reef. Both locations were different and really cool. We had an additional single lady in our dive group who was very scared to dive. Pepe gave her additional personal help to help guide her through the dive, all-the-while, keeping an eye on the group to make sure everyone was constantly doing well. Malek documented our experience with photos and video capturing both what we did and saw. His camera was super high quality. He then edited the content and shared his final work the next day. Both the photos and the video turned out so well that we had to buy them all. I’ve done a few intro dives before (Cozumel and a few locations at the Great Barrier Reef). This one was the most professional that I’ve ever experienced. I had tried to do my own underwater photos on previous dives, but they turned out terribly. Having Malek as our photographer/videographer gave us way higher quality memories and allowed us to focus more on the experience. I highly recommend going through this dive shop.
