What to expect
The tour starts at Ted Sperling Park on Lido Key. We start by paddling on Sarasota Bay. This shallow water bay is a great place to practice using the equipment and getting some pointers from the guides. If you have never been on a paddleboard before, don't worry! This is a great place to learn and our guides are expert instructors. Our tour takes us to the canals in front of the beautiful homes on Lido Key and though they are beautiful to look at, our real goal is to spot dolphins and manatees that frequent the area. Keep your eye open for ospreys, bald eagles and cormorants--all of which are often hunting for fish. The highlight of the tour is a paddle through the windy tunnels through the mangroves. This unique ecosystem is home to birds, fish, seastars and crabs. Your guide will take you through the maze of mangrove tunnels, pointing out wildlife as you go. At the end of the tour, your guide will take you back to the original launch site. (If not everyone in your party feels comfortable with paddleboards, we can add paddleboards and kayaks to the same group.)

Peacefully floating through the mangrove tunnels was truly a once in a lifetime experience and should be a priority of anyone travelling through the LBK/Lido region.Awesome tour! Sam was my guide, she knew everyone in the tours name before we left, was very knowledgeable about the sea creatures & ecosystem. She was fun and made sure to talk to everyone during the trip. We were able to see many manatees and lots of jellyfish, crabs, and sea urchins. The mangrove tunnels were very cool. We had 3 people who had never paddle boarded and our guide helped them feel very comfortable.
