We had the best time on this tour, it wasn’t a sunset tour as we imagined & there is no longer active Lava but still brilliant. We first went to Pacaya and hiked with a local guide where at the top we had freshly cooked pizza! We then returned to the base and went into Guatemala City for a walk around the historic centre!Esteban was a great guide and the trip was awesome. Forever memory. Bring quetzales cash to for tips and souvenirs! Don't underestimate the trail. It's steep but doable. If you are out of shape, just do the horseback ride. Trail difficulty is simply about how stamina, not skill. Easy but a workout!

From pickup to drop off this tour exceeded expectations and was an amazing experience. Each driver and guide along the way was knowledgeable, friendly, and hospitable! We got picked up and transported to Pacaya Volcano from our hotel in Guatemala City. Although traffic was a nightmare trans and driver made trip tolerable and was all forgotten upon setting out on volcano hike. We had tour guide Franklin who was awesome and hike along lava fields and views from Pacaya were breathtaking. Note if you aren’t in shape hike can be challenging. Anderson made a killer pizza at rest stop. From there returned to GC where guide touched upon key spots along 6 ave before return to hotel. Can’t say enough about this experience except it’s a must do!A wonderful experienc, full of information and well done. I felt safe and taken care of the wholenway. Thank you for this experience!

He was very informative about the city and the culture. He made the trek up to the volcano interesting with stories from our local guide. Once we made it to the top our dinner was perfect. Would definitely recommend this tour!
