The park headquarters is located on Ko Wua Talap, which has basic bungalow accommodation, visitor center, first aid tent and kayaks for rent, which would get you exploring around beautiful scenery of the 42 tropical islands.
Hidden lagoons, white sand beaches and Emerald lagoon lake. Imagine snorkeling in the shallow coral gardens. Angthong National Marine Park, translates as ‘golden bowl’, occupies almost 250 sq km and includes 50 sq km of limestone islands and cliffs which rise from the sea as dramatic and bizarre rock formations.

Snorkeling at the best spot at Koh Wao or Koh Tay Plaow
Inner Emerald Lake – Talay Nai – short walk to the most incredible viewpoint to see all 42 Islands of Angthong National Marine Park – Thailand
Sightseeing around Angthong Marine Park – Explore Monkey Island, cruise around Angthong National Marine Park

Wake up the next day, have a breakfast in the restaurant and continue exploring the park on kayaks
We’ll come to pick you up around 3 pm and take you back Koh Phangan
Transfer back to your residence and continue with your island vacation night life.

Ci siamo appoggiati a questa agenzia, con cui collabora l'efficiente e gentile Giorgio, per organizzare i transfert sulle isole e per la visita overnight al parco Ang Thong (parco composto da 42 isole tutte disabitate a parte la principale in cui si trova la sede del parco e dove si dorme) . La visita si è svolta in due gg. Partenza dal porto di Koh Phangan con sosta per visitare un lago verde smeraldo racchiuso fra le montagne, una seconda sosta in isola in cui abbiamo fatto kayak e abbiamo pranzato (ottimo persino il cibo!!) ed infine arrivo nell'isola principale in cui siamo rimasti fino alle 15 del gg successivo. Qui è possibile dormire in bungalow o in tenda, ci sono un ristorante, un barettino, bagni con docce e la sede del parco. Verso le 17, una volta partiti anche gli ultimi turisti, fino alle 10 del mattino successivo rimarrete solo voi e le scimmiette! Sembra di essere in paradiso! Per chi vuole si può salire a 500 Mt lungo una ripida scalinata per vedere un meraviglioso tramonto o l'alba. Noi abbiamo visto il tramonto e mentre abbiamo visto l'alba seduti in spiaggia cullati solo dallo sciabordio del mare. Se siete a Koh Phangan non potete perdervi questa meraviglia ma prenotate per tempo perché i posti per dormire sono pochissimi!!!
