What to expect
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Airlie Beach, Great Barrier Reef QLD 4805, Australia
- Check-in at the Coral Sea Marina North End - Meeting Point B at 7:30am.
- Tour departs from the Coral Sea Marina at 8:00am sharp.
- Travel by high speed catamaran to first Outer Reef Snorkel site, arriving at 9:45am, while taking in the beautiful scenery of the Whitsunday Islands and morning tea.
- Safety briefing conducted at the first Outer Reef site - 9:45am to 10:00am.
- In water activities at first Outer Reef site 10:00am - 11:30am.
- Depart for second Outer Reef site.
- Arrive at second Outer Reef site 12:00pm.
- Explore second Outer Reef site 12:00pm - 2:00pm.
- Lunch served 12:30pm - 1:15pm.
- Depart Outer Reef for the Coral Sea Marina, Airlie Beach 2:00pm.
- Kick back and relax on the return journey to Airlie Beach, taking in the beautiful scenery of the Whitsunday Islands with a tasty beverage from our fully licensed bar 2:15pm to 4:00pm.
- Return to the Coral Sea Marina at 4pm.

Saturday October 9th, 2023 was a windy day but the catamaran was able to keep 25 knots out through the gap between St Bee's and Keswick islands and then on to Scawfell NP. Snorkeling in Refuge Bay was great and the support provide exceptional, including a useful briefing and everything was well organised. Lunch was great and the afternoon spent on the beach was relaxing. On the way back some whales were spotted and the boat stopped so everyone could get a view.We had an awesome time on the Wild Cat with Rhys, Sam, Mika, and Dimmy. The crew were all incredibly nice, entertaining, very knowledgeable about the reef and the islands, and took great care of all the passengers. We had an awesome time on the Wild Cat with Rhys, Sam, Mika, and Dimmy. The crew were all incredibly nice, entertaining, very knowledgeable about the reef and the islands, and took great care of all the passengers. Due to high winds and rough seas, we weren’t able to get to the outer reef, but the crew took us to four great snorkel locations on the inner reef that were all different and each equally beautiful. We booked just the day before and had to be at the wharf by 7.30 the next day. We were great by very pleasant and helpful staff,this also set the tone for the day. The staff were very professional, friendly helpful and knowledgeable. We saw whale's during our trip out and back (as it's whale migration season) The snorkeling on the reefs was awesome and thoroughly recommend.We used noodles to float around and made it easier. The sights that you see are totally amazing and definitely a bucket list cross off. Thank you for such a cool day P.s we really enjoyed the lunch as well
