Belle-Île-en-mer has captured the hearts of many artists. The most glamorous is undoubtedly Sarah Bernhardt. Glamorous...and fearless. Her escapades are known, the influence she had on the art of her time is also. But do we know how much? Do we know to what extent she was a pioneer on the stage, creating some of the mythical roles of the theater, some having even been written especially for her! These are excerpts from some of these texts, which Sarah was the first to perform on stage, that the artist will share with you to discover a piece of the soul of "la dame des Poulains".
The show takes place near the forts at the Pointe des Poulains. We will thus have a view of the carved cliffs that Sarah loved so much and which are perfectly matched to the powerful characters that "the Golden Voice" interpreted.
