Stop At: Frognerseteren, Oslo Municipality, Norway
Our trip starts outside Oslo Visitor Centre located at the bustling Jernbanetorget. We will hop aboard the Frognerseteren metro line taking a scenic train ride with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
As you reach the Frognerseteren station, you will be greeted by breathtaking panoramic views.

Stop At: Oslomarka, Oslo Ost Frognerseteren, Oslo 687 Norway
We will take a leisurely hike through the glorious green forest and along mysterious small lakes that are said to be inhabited by the mystical creature Huldra. After we wander over the picturesque Fuglemyrene we will reach DNT Fuglemyrhytta - a small cabin that offers a cozy spot to relax and take in the views.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Vettakollen Viewpoint, Oslo 0890 Norway
From there our adventure will continue through the forest to the most spectacular spot of our journey – the summit of Vettakollen mountain offering overwhelming views of the city and the Oslofjord.
Vettakollen peak provides the best view to the city. From here, you can feast your eyes on large parts of Oslo, the Oslo fjord, and its serene coastline, dotted with numerous small islands.
After enjoying the view, we will stroll down to the metro station and finish our trip at Jernbanetorget.

We had a very pleasant tour. Our guide, Mustapha, was very friendly and informative. He guided us well through the vast forest and showed us a breathtaking view of Oslo and its fjord. I would definitely recommend this tour, and of course the charming guide!

Mustapha did a great job leading the hike and it was good to chat with him ...

We have been furnished with spikes for better traction on the icy ground. The guide was super friendly, helpful and forthcoming. The view over the Oslofjord was spectacular.
