You'll pass by the Nonnberg Convent, where Maria was a novice and got married to Baron von Trapp.
Stop At: Schloss Hellbrunn, Fuerstenweg 37, Salzburg 5020 Austria
The next photo stop are the gardens of Schloss Hellbrunn, where you will visit the glass gazebo used in the movie for the kissing scene of Maria and Baron von Trapp.

Enjoy the breathtaking view during a photo stop at Lake Leopoldskron mirroring the palace, where the famous boating scene was filmed.

Stop At: Lake Wolfgang, St Gilgen 5340 Austria
Then continue to Lake Wolfgang. During a brief photo stop, enjoy the view of Lake Wolfgang and down to St. Gilgen.

Bit disappointed to see we were the only people going for dinner which was very tasty 😊really lovely day, the tour guide and driver were great i wouldn't worry about adding the lunch - wasn't the easiest place to find and food wasn't particularly great. the tour is a must even if not so familiar with the film the scenery is stunning and great to see some surrounding areas

After our city tour we were taken to the oldest restaurant in Europe circa 803AD, St Peters and serenaded by this group of 4 individuals singing Sound of Music numbers. They were wonderful!

They were wonderful!The Tour was very good, with the guide keeping everybody super involved and giving out hidden information as well.Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, Highly recommendable. This is the movie my children have grown up with and done a play also ,so all were very excited and it lived up to our expectations.

The Sound of Music Tour only enhance our time in Salzburg. I've taken many tours in major cities throughout Europe and this was absolutely one of the top tours ever. The staff made the trip so much fun.

Also, the tour to the lakes where the wedding recording is done is a great place to be. We were there in July and enjoyed the lake beach too.
