What to expect
The Orca Quest Cruise departs the Seward Harbor 360 Hotel Dock at 12:30 p.m. This 4 hour cruise explores Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park in search of orca whales during the prime orca whale watching season. From mid-May through mid-June, orcas frequent the waters outside of Seward in search of food. Our experienced Captains will explore the area's orca hot spots to maximize your chances of seeing orca whales. Rather than following a set route, our Captains will take you to the places where orcas have recently been seen, making every day a unique cruising experience. This cruise is narrated by our knowledgeable Captains and naturalist crew members. A hydrophone will be onboard for you to listen to the haunting calls of the orca whales underwater. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase onboard. This cruise returns to the Seward Harbor 360 Hotel dock at 4:30 p.m.

We saw a great many orca whales and other creatures. Captain Nat had great narration and did a great job of finding and staying near wildlife. I highly recommend this tour to everyone.

They provided me with blankets and extra sweatshirt so we could sit outside and let her get fresh air and still see the whales without her being too cold since all...

They provided me with blankets and extra sweatshirt so we could sit outside and let her get fresh air and still see the whales without her being too cold since all the warm clothes plus her jacket I had brought were soiled with throw up.This cruise was spectacular! I would highly recommend it. We saw 3 different pods of Orcas, humpback whale, sea lions, a sea otter, puffins, etc. It was a bit cool on the water, but the boat had indoor and outdoor scenery. We saw 3 different pods of Orcas, humpback whale, sea lions, a sea otter, puffins, etc. It was a bit cool on the water, but the boat had indoor and outdoor scenery. This particular cruise option is only available during parts of the year (May 15th-June 15th, I think). The views are fantastic. I'm so glad I went. The crew was very helpful. I thought we might get more information about nature - e.g. mountain names, etc., but it was mostly about the marine life Shybree was an awesome crew member!What a great tour! Even with crumby weather the captains and staff did a great job keeping everyone on board comfortable. We saw ALL THE THINGS. Humpback whales, orcas, sea lions, sea otters, seals...they did such a great job spotting wildlife and keeping us informed and entertained. Totally wor...
What a great tour! Even with crumby weather the captains and staff did a great job keeping everyone on board comfortable. We saw ALL THE THINGS. Humpback whales, orcas, sea lions, sea otters, seals...they did such a great job spotting wildlife and keeping us informed and entertained. Totally worth it. They have snacks and drinks on board but I would bring your own, too. It’s a long tour and if you’re picky about your food or need specialty diet stuff it’s better to be prepared.What could have been better, a lower price. The tour guides on board were very helpful, and knowledgeable. Loved the Orca’s wish we could have seen more. Thank you for the Experience.
