What to expect
Your PADI open water certification class includes E-learning ,knowledge development, confined water practice and two boat trips for a total of 4 dives. All gear and equipment included.
Day 1: 9 am at Dive Center.. Review of academic on line e-learning with your certified instructor.. You will review the principles of scuba diving in our dive center and learn equipment and then learn and practice skills in confined water.
Day 2: 9 am at Dive Center.. Review skills and knowledge with your certified instructor.. . Then out on the boat, for dives 1 and 2 where you practice skills but also enjoy the beautiful crystal clear waters and beautiful coral and sea life
Day 3: 9 am at Dive Center
Review then on the boat for dives 3 & 4!! You and your instructor will take a 20 minute boat ride to a 2 tank scuba dive in the Marine National Park where you get to use your skills and explore! Enjoy your new adventure seeing the wonder of underwater coral and creatures!

Everything was great. It was like being welcomed into a new family. First you can do the scuba discovery tour which are two dives, in order to get a feel if scuba diving is something for you. Then if you enjoy it, you can continue and take the certificate, and the two first dives will count towards that. Very affordable in the end and totally worth it. Paul and Sharon are great at making you feel at home, and the whole crew is very welcoming and nice. I was only supposed to stay on Isla for one week, but ended up staying two. Special shout out to instructor Pedro who made the diving course fun, exciting and feel like second nature. Highly recommended!I got my open water certification here and had an awesome time. Pedro, my instructor, was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and confident throughout. There are lots of places to choose from on the Island, but definitely come here if looking to get certified!!

Everyone at the shop was great and our instructor Pedro was fantastic. Highly recommend Aqua Adventures for anyone wanting to get into scuba diving! Thank you for an amazing first scuba experience!

Joined AquaAdventures for Advanced Open Water Certification which proved to be better than expected. Got 1:1 attention and education from Pedro who was able to identify my weaknesses (buoyancy control and O2 consumption) and provide tips on how to remedy both. He has helped improve my overall diving skill. Sharon, in the front office, was very responsive to any enquiries that I had and MOST pleasant to deal with. Jason, divemaster and equipment maintenance was a wealth of information regarding the first time purchase of a regulator. Captain Wilbur was skilled in getting us to the dive spots through occasional less than optimum conditions and was always in the vicinity to pick us up. Melanie and Mario lent a youthful enthusiasm to the activity of diving. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend AquaAdventures for diving on Isla Mujeres. Possibly the only thing missing is a shop dog to welcome customers.The staff was AMAZING and made you feel just like family. They were so accommodating of our time as well. This was a remarkable experience and we will return to continue further classes in the future. Sharon made everything super easy and seamless. Pedro was a great instructor and made this a ton...
