One Hour Axe Throwing Guided Experience in Whistler

Axe throwing is an amazing indoor activity in Whistler, no matter the weather outside you can always throw and axe!
It’s a great opportunity to learn a new skill under the guidance of our experienced coaches, or perfect the skills you already have.
In a mountain town with few indoor activities, Forged Axe Throwing is perfect for a Sunday-Funday, a rainy day, smokey fire day, or a get-out-of-the-cold activity. Bring your friends and family, a stranger you met on the bus, a bumble date…grab an axe and get throwing!

What to expect
Our axe throwing host will meet you at our front desk. Once you're all signed in you'll get to throwing in no time! Our coaches will teach you the basics of throwing, how to score a match, and teach you some trick throws and tournament style games!

- Please arrive 10 minutes early to sign waivers forms and go through safety precautions. All sessions start at the top of the hour, 12pm - 8pm. We are located a short drive from Whistler village, please arrange transportation ahead of time.

It was a group session with other people participating in games- we were expecting something more like a range where we would have a target to ourselves and could practice and experiment to our liking- the activities and competitions we took part in weren't that interesting to us, but it was still a good time. Getting the hang of the throw can be difficult, but once you learn how to sink the axe into the target, it can be very satisfying. Making the experience work in this way really came down to Dominique, who had great energy with the whole group, and was able to get us to a competent level with our throws very quickly. She was able to engage people and get the best out of the experience for us.Dominique was the best teacher, so patient & fun! We did it as a Mother’s Day gift, best gift ever. I even made it to the wall of fame. Would highly recommend this for friends, families. Staff were very friendly & attentive. Will definitely be coming back!
