Baku Boulevard is a promenade established in 1909 which runs parallel to Baku's seafront. Its history goes back more than 100 years, to a time when Baku oil barons built their mansions along the Caspian shore and when the seafront was artificially built up inch by inch.

The Heydar Aliyev Center is a 57, 500 m2 (619, 000 sq ft) building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003.

Old City or Inner City is the historical core of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The Old City is the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by walls which were easily defended. In 2007, the Old City had a population of about 3000 people. In December 2000, the Old City of Baku, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, became the first location in Azerbaijan to be classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

I come to Baku for the holidays. I decided to order a tour of the city from the company "Warriors of Azerbaijan". The trip went great. Everything was organized perfectly; the whole trip coincided with the program at 100%. I was very lucky with the tour guide, Ali, he was not only a nice person and also very knowledgeable for Azerbaijan history, culture and custom. I was pleased to choice the right tour. Firstly we walked old town, Ali knows a lot about history for the Baku and Azerbaijan back to 12 century. Afterword, I was taken by a private car to these famous places in Baku, Culture center, monument, central park with little Venice etc, I saw the good view for Baku city from monument. The tour was ended with lovely traditional local food for lunch, which was delicious and all included in the tour. Our tour guide Ali was not only have excellent knowledge and wonderful English to answers many questions and patience with me. I was very lucky with the guide. We went to Baku for the holidays. We decided to order a tour of the city from the company "Warriors of Azerbaijan". The trip went great. Everything was organized perfectly; the whole trip coincided with the program at 100%. We was very lucky with the guide, who almost perfectly conducted the entire excursion, starting from the meeting at the airport on 07/26/2019 until departure on 07/29/2019. The advantages of the guide: excellent knowledge of the country, answers to any question and patience with tourists. He answered any questions, translated freely in 3 languages, helped everyone who asked for help. We were very lucky with the guide. Unfortunately, I did not remember his name. However, the journey is over, and the wonderful impressions will last a lifetime. We thank the travel agency for the wonderful trip around Baku.
