Off Road Truck West Tour
Overview
See a different side of Curaçao at the Hato Plains, this is a rugged plain, where cacti thrive. On one side of the plain is the Caribbean Sea, which strikes with great force against this rocky side of the island, and on the other side there are limestone plateaus. In those limestone plateaus are lots of hidden caves. We will visit the Bos di San Antonio Cave. After leaving the Curaçao desert, we will continue to the Shete Boka National Park. The windier and rougher the weather, the better the show. Become captivated as the waves explode on wild rock formations and get pushed through a crater at Boka Pistol. Get a delicious taste of our awa di lamunchi accompanied by a mouthwatering loacal meal at Williwood and finally, we will also pass by a flamingo habitat, where we might be lucky to spot flamingos.

Stop At: Curacao, Curacao

On one side of the plain is the Caribbean Sea, which strikes with great force against the rocky north shore of the island. On the other side there are limestone plateaus in which there are many hidden caves.
Off road driving to Bull’s Eye and a Photo stop from the truck at Bull's Eye, a World War II training target on the Hato plains.
Duration: 1 hour 10 minutes
Stop At: Voice of Saint Anthony Cave, 6XMF+C68, Kaya Basalt, Tera Korá, Curaçao
Off road driving to Kueba Bos di San Antonio.
This cave was formed below the water and as the sea level dropped throughout millions of years it is now exposed and above the surface. Explore the cave and discover the different shapes and sizes of its impressive stalagmites and stalactites.
Duration: 35 minutes
Stop At: Shete Boka National Park, Boka Tabla, Willemstad Curacao
Drive to Shete Boka National Park.
The windier and rougher the weather, the better the show over here. Watch in awe as the waves explode on wild rock formations at Boka Tabla and view the startling spectacle that forms when waves get pushed through a narrow inlet at Boka Pistol.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Weg Naar Bullenbaai, Sint Michiel, Curaçao
On our way back we will go off the beaten track one last time via Bullenbaai, giving you a unique view of the island. We will also pass by a flamingo habitat at the salt flats of Sint Michiel, where we might spot these beautiful birds from the truck.

This truck is uncomfortable in every way. The driver does donuts and intentionally causes mud to splash on the face, clothes...everywhere. Then you're told the mud will stain your clothes and never come out. It's too windy, too dusty, just not at all fun. Guess I'm too old. This might be fun...
This truck is uncomfortable in every way. The driver does donuts and intentionally causes mud to splash on the face, clothes...everywhere. Then you're told the mud will stain your clothes and never come out. It's too windy, too dusty, just not at all fun. Guess I'm too old. This might be fun for 13 to 20yr olds. I personally did not enjoy it at all.
