What to expect
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Pass By: Alta, Alta, Alta Municipality, Finnmark, Northern Norway
We will start the tour from Alta Center with the opportunity to pass by the cathedral of the Northern Lights and to enjoy the impressing view of the landscapes in the Alta Fjord. In our way through Alta we will give you a briefing about this natural phenomenon and the conditions of the day, that leads us to the best place to enjoy them in that night.

This was THE BEST Adventure ! From the moment of Booking to the actual evening tour, this was by far a perfect experience. Communication was easy and Stig & Diamela are the most amazing hosts. Stig is a wealth of knowledge and an expert in finding & chasing the elusive NorthernLights! With incremental weather that evening, it was doubtful we may see lights, I was up for whatever the adventure brought. Well, Stig knew right where to drive us, away from the snowstorm… inland and With Stig’s expertise we found the most magical Aurora Lights and the evening was filled with wondrous green dancing skies. Stig is a wealth of information and stories of old & new and just a wonderful experienced host. Thoroughly enjoyed hearing about the history of Finnmark, conversations were easy, enriching, fun & Happy!!! We had yummy hot chocolate and The Best Reindeer sandwiches (truly) to keep our evening going. Wonderful people joined and everything was delightful. The mini van was cosy and warm too. Did i mention? ?? 😉 The Northern Lights were astonishing, extraordinary, fascinating and Magical dancing with us along the way ! Stig was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable about the whole area. He took us on a wonderful snowmobile tour. We went to a small hotel/restaurant on a mountain plateau which was run by a Sami family where we had coffee and cakes after an amazing ride on a frozen lake. The whole trip lasted about 5 hours and was worth every penny. We found the cost reasonable and were provided with all the gear required so we didn't feel cold at all. We were on a cruise to see the Northern Lights but decided to do our own thing on his day and we were so glad we did as the experience was magical. Thank you so much Stig and Jamela thats one off the bucket list!
