Join an all-inclusive northern lights chase with experienced The Green Adventure Team. Enjoy a campfire, warm soup and marshmallows in the Arctic outdoors. There are thermal overalls available and hot chocolate to keep you warm and cosy. Your guide will take you to areas will best viewing potential for the night, away from city light pollution. Our guide will help you set your camera and will take professional aurora photos that you will get by email after the tour.

This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Tromso Fjords, Tromso Norway
We can drive in area of 200km around Tromso to find good spots to observe the northern lights. Sometimes we can drive not so far from the city, but be prepared that sometimes we need to drive even towards Finland. We have experience with local weather and good contact network with other guides that helps us find clear sky - a prerequisite to see the Northern Lights.

- Group starting 18:30 contains maximum 14 guests, group starting 19:00 have only max 8 guests

We had the most incredible experiences over 2 nights with Lady Lights dancing in the skies last week. We booked with The Green Adventure- a private tour for 6 of us friends- 'Chasing the Lights' for 2 nights, from Tromso, Norway. Best decision ever! On the first evening- 19th Sept, we were picked up by Kat in a comfortable 8 seater van- at 7PM. She was so friendly, very articulate and full of interesting facts and stories. We hit it off immediately, setting the mood perfectly. Kat drove us out of Tromso to Kvaloya Island, where she stopped to show us sunset over the fjord. It was a gorgeous view! Then off we went to a place she felt we'd have a good chance to see the Lights once the sky darkened a bit. Sure enough, as soon as Kat stopped the van and we got out, the Lady appeared in the skies. She started to dance and form in the skies- mainly greens, with hues of pinks, yellows and reds. Kat drove us to 4 locations to enjoy the Auroras, through the mountains, finally setting up a camp fire on a beautiful beach. She took pix of us under the Aurora as well as other pix with her professional camera. The next night (20th Sept) her husband Rob picked us up at 8pm from our hotel, again driving to Kvaloya but to another side of the island along the coast. Rob was equally friendly, articulate and shared so much information with us. What was special was he knew what Kat had told us the previous night, so he took care not to repeat those points. So thoughtful of them! This second evening was beyond special as Lady Lights put on a grand show! There were Auroras everywhere- all over the skies, in every direction and it lasted for hours. It was beyond our imagination! So much activity and bright vivid colors and shapes. Rob also drove us to 4 different spots to enjoy the Auroras, finally setting up campfire along the beach. Rob took pictures of us and of the Auroras. And on the way back, we saw a moose by the side of the road. What a great way to end our Aurora experience. Both evenings we were served hot chocolate, cookies, cinnamon rolls and later when sitting around the camp fire, we got delicious soups and also roasted marshmallows. They brought all the gear- including thermal suits in our sizes, camp fire, and picnic stools, apart from food and drinks. Coffee and tea was also available. They disposed off the wood chips responsibly after we were done with camp fire, packing everything back into the van. Both Kat and Rob emailed us all the pix the next morning, a precious memory of a special experience of a lifetime. We'd booked with The Green Adventure before we booked our flights to Tromso, with emails from India. They are very responsive and share a lot of information, asked our sizes for thermal suits, whether we're vegetarian to plan for soups. Incredible people! We loved Chasing the Lights with The Green Adventure and we highly recommend Kat and Rob. They are very warm, friendly, and ensure they will go the extra mile to make the experience joyful and truly memorable. I'd give The Green Adventure more than 100/100- they were incredible in every way! Huge thanks Kat and Rob for making our time with Lady Lights truly light up our world!! The northern lights outing was an amazing experience overall and we all had a good time. Kat, who hosted out outing that night was very charming and knowledgeable making the whole group connect really quickly. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Tromso 😊

Perfection!! A dream came true :) Kat was super nice, we enjoyed the view on beautiful aurora and her stories. She really knew how to answer every question. The photos are beautiful too, something to enjoy even years after this experience :)
