Stop At: SPI Excursions, 204 W Palm St, South Padre Island, TX 78597-6717
We travel to the Northern part of South Padre Island. It takes our boat approx 8 - 10 min to get to the snorkel location.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

The water was shallow, so you don't need to be a strong swimmer. We were able to see puffer fish, catfish, a flounder and a host of other sea critters.

It was awesome. Had a great time and captain was awesome. Recommend for everyone to try out.

Recommend for everyone to try out.Our 7 year-old was worried about the deep water but loved the fact we were in shallow water and still saw fish. We went to a second spot that was deeper when we were ready and had just as much fun. We even got to see some dolphins!

We even got to see some dolphins!Brady, the captain was nice, the water was pleasant and we could stand up where we snorkeled. Lots of fish. But the downside was they were only 2 kinds of fish. I saw 1 puffer fish and 1 hermit crab in a shell. So a bit dull.

We live closer to the Atlantic so the water is definitely not as clear where we live. Fun experience.
