This is a great tour but gets to be a very long day. From 6:30am-7:30 or 8:00pm. Our Guide had a thick French accent and at times it was hard to understand. She also talked for several hours straight on the way out to Normandy and it was hard to follow all the talking. It would have been better to be more concise This tour stopped for lunch in Arromanches-de-Bains and we are at Hotel de la Marine—a delightful seaside restaurant that serves locally made hard cider (by the Sapinietr family farm next to Omaha beach) and the best oysters shrimp and calamari ever. It has an ocean view of the sunken pieces of pier. If your tour stops there for lunch make sure you go!!
