This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Jaisalmer District, Jaisalmer District, Rajasthan
This is a half day Camel Safari with evening meal around the open fire.
We leave Jaisalmer and head by jeep for the Thar Desert.
We start by visiting a stunning but vital natural Oasis which today over 45 villages rely on.
We then continue on to an abandoned 18th Century Village, the story behind this village will amaze you.
From the abandoned Village to a small inhabited nomad's village where they continue their traditions of the past. The children will be very welcoming as they rarely see strangers.
We then continue by jeep for a short while to where we pick up the Camels. After an hours Camel journey out into the sand dunes of the Thar desert we break to make camp. There will be snacks and Chai available as we watch the Sunset followed by a meal cooked by our camel guide over an open fire.
You will then have time to gaze at the brightest Stars you will ever see before we return to the city.

The ride was beautiful, the camels are nicely treated and we were thrilled with the sunset and dinner in the desert. Also, I have never seen so many stars before, simply wonderful:)

Camels are well taken care of, we watched the sun set just above the sand dunes, the dinner is made under the shooting stars, and the whole experience is just fantastic. Ali arranged everything for us - he is the perfect host.

An awesome once in a lifetime kind of experience, never thought I’d ride a camel but it was so fun. So thankful for our kind and generous guide!

We had the most amazing time on this desert safari. We decided not to stay overnight and just went in the afternoon and came back to Ali’s hotel at night. We were quite apprehensive about doing a camel safari as was worried about it being touristy but it absolutely wasn’t. It was so authentic and the camels seemed really well looked after. It was so lovely to meet the camel owners and our tour guide and hotel owner grew up in one of the desert villages so is very knowledgable about the area and it was so interesting to hear of his experiences. We set off in a jeep into the desert with a few stops for sightseeing, met the camels and walked further into the desert. Here, a super delicious meal was cooked for us by the camel owners and we watched the sun set and ate dinner around the campfire, it was beautiful. I highly recommend this safari as an authentic and unforgettable experience.
