Jebel Shams is a mountain located in northeastern Oman north of Al Hamra town.It is known as Jabal Shams because it is the first place to receive sunrise in Oman due to its high peak. It is the highest mountain of the Hajar range and the country.

My friends and I went on a full day trip to Nizwa, Jebel Shams. Ahmed Khamis picks us up on time from our hotel. We started our trip to Nizwa. While visiting the Fort and Souk, we ate the Omani Bread and Karak Tea, it was delicious. Then after we headed up to Al Hamra and Misfah Al Abryeen and Jebel Shams. The Landscape and beautiful scenery were amazing. It was a day full of fun and adventure with Ahmed Khamis.
