Nis Fortress is the best preserved example of Ottoman architecture in the Balkans. The Fortress includes amphitheater, Bali Beg Mosque, Arsenal, Lapidarium and Hamam.

Stop At: Monument to the Liberators of Nis, Nis Serbia
Located at the beautiful central square in Nis, Monument to the Liberators of Nis unifies several generations of freedom fighters.

Stop At: The Monument of Stevan Sremac and Kalca, Kopitareva Street, Nis Serbia
Located at the entrance to the Bohemian Quarter in Nis. It is a tribute to famous writer Stevan Sremac and one of his famous characters.

Stop At: Tinkers Alley, Kopitareva Street, Nis Serbia
A short walk through the Bohemian Quarter of Nis, including a coffee and sweets break.

I stayed in Nis for two days and I truly enjoyed the day in which I went with Bane to this leasure tour. It was very pleasant to learn about Nis and its surrounding areas. And Bane is no shy in voicing his political and social opinion if asked. In this tour, I did see some very nice natural places. It is a very easy tour in terms of walking and anyone can do it. We had lunch in a nice winery that I got to tour as well. It was money well-spent!kyles53

This tour shows a lot of stuff and his insights were good into the history. I learned a lot and would recommend this tour. Several things had limited hours due to CIVID, but he made it all work out. I did choose Bane based on the wonderful reviews here on tripadviser and I can only say I did the right thing. Bane made me visit beautiful serbian nature on a day trip (Poganovo monastery, Slavinjsko grlo and other spots of Stara planina nature park), we had tasty serbian food and then the next day his lovely colleague Milena drove me to Devil´s town. It´s very enjoyable to spend time with someone who takes pride in showing his country and picking the best bits. Bane made me feel like I was at home, he drove me also around Nis and gave me great tips. Thank you for everything Bane once again!478kh

I went on a two-day trip with Bane to see Nis and many of its surrounding attractions (e.g., Devil's town, Studenica monastery, Zica, Felix Romuliana, Manasija Monastery). I had a long list of sights I wanted to visit but only had limited time. Luckily, I found Bane, who really helped me to make it happen! Bane was very accommodating and was happy to make changes and be flexible. E.g., I wasn't able to make an earlier bus as planned and was only able to arrive in Nis at 4:30am - Bane was happy to picked me up at this early hour without a complaint. I had a really lovely time and fully enjoyed the two days I spend with him. I learnt a lot about the country during this trip. Serbia is really a beautiful country and have a lot to show. I am looking forward to return for another trip, and will surely find Bane again to organise my trip. Thanks again Bane!Amelie_Calleja

We had the best time in Niš with Bane. We messaged the company just a day before arriving and weren't expecting much luck being so last minute, but we had an instant reply and had a tour organized for us immediately. Bane met us at the airport in Niš with food and drinks for breakfast to eat in the car. He drove us first to Niška Banja where we saw the baths and walked through the beautiful forest and park. As we were driving to our next location, we saw some paragliders and Bane offered to take us to show where they land and jump from. The view from the top is incredible. We then met some local farmers who shared with us some lovely memories and homemade plum schnapps. It was such an amazing experience and we will always remember it! We then drove to a few gorges in the area including the Jelasnicka Gorge and the Sićevo Gorge. Bane found us a vegetarian/vegan cafe for lunch. Bane was a fantastic tour guide and was even kind enough to drop us off at our apartment and pick us up the next day to take us to the airport. We highly recommend Show Me Tours and we are excited to come back for a week tour of Serbia with Bane! Хвала вам!
