Stop At: Hanoi, Hanoi
7:00 – 7:30: Our limousine bus will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to Ninh Binh
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Hoa Lu temples of the Dinh & Le Dynasties, Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh 40000 Vietnam
10:30: We arrive Hoa Lu, then go visiting Hoa Lu ancient capital of Dai Co Viet in 10th and 11th Century by bicycle. We will visit Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple built in the 10th century, finding out the Heroic histories of this two Kings and old Vietnamese Architecture style as well as the history of ancient Vietnam.
11:45: Enjoy buffet lunch with local Vietnamese cuisine at local restaurant.

Stop At: Trang An Grottoes, Ninh Binh 103000 Vietnam
13:30: This is a highlight of the trip, take a boat tour from Trang An wharf is an satisfying experience you must do in Ninh Binh. Being on your rowing bamboo boat to explore many grottoes with beautiful stalactites, see around wonderful landscapes of Trang An Tour.

Stop At: Mua Caves, Ninh Binh 430000 Vietnam
16:00 Then Visit the Mua Cave (Dancing Cave), where you can get the impressive panoramic view of Tam Coc and Ninh Binh city when you reach the top viewpoint of Ngoa Long mountain (~ 500 steps).
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Hanoi, Hanoi
17h30: Then come back to Hanoi.
19h30 - 20h00: We will drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.Tour ends!

This day trip was action-packed and perfect for the Hanoi-based short-stay traveller. This day trip was action-packed and perfect for the Hanoi-based short-stay traveller. On our first stop we visited the Hoa Lu temple (and our timing was perfect for the April 30 holiday celebrations where we witnessed the offering rituals). Second stop was a very picturesque bike ride around the town adjacent to the temple and then lunch which included some local dishes. Our 3rd stop was a bamboo boat ride in Trang An, now an unesco world heritage site where we visited several temples/pagodas along the waterways and travelled by boat through caves and valleys. Third stop was a very sweaty climb up to the peak above Mua Cave offering stunning views of the surrounding area. The group size was 18 people and made for a very enjoyable small day trip in the limousine bus. But what made the tour was our guide Quang. Quang was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about sharing his knowledge, friendly, and helpful. He answered our questions in detailed encyclopedic knowledge about anything we asked. His English was impeccable and sense of humour delightful. I feel lucky to have experienced this day trip with Quang.Great day, informative tour. Beautiful scenery & lunch. Took care of everyone really well and did an amazing job. Although we had some issues with the driver he resolved it beautifully. My friend and I had a great time on this trip I highly recommend. Me and my friend spend wonderful day in Ninh Binh, we had lot of activities, climbing, kayaking, we saw caves, temples and beautiful landscapes. The guide (Steve /Hiep) was organized, friendly, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Food, cycling, Trang An boat ride and Mua Cave were covered in this tour. There were vegetarian options too in the lunch buffet. Highly recommend!

We stayed in old quarter and the pick up bus was on time. The kayaking boat experience is too good to miss. It is a 11-12 hrs trip.. will be slightly tiring.. but definitely worth it!?
