The tour itself was amazing with a well balanced itinerary. This was only made better by the tour guide who was very friendly.

Our tour guide Alex was wonderful, he gave us lots of information on Vietnam and it was great to visit a temple with a guide to explain it to you! The restaurant lunch was tasty and very accommodating to vegetarians! (Not always easy in Vietnam!) Every activity in the day was really brilliant, it’s a busy day but you are definitely getting your money’s worth with this tour. The boat tour is 1hr40 so plenty of time to take it all in! The setting is truly beautiful making the bike ride, boat trip and mountain climb all very unforgettable.Scenic tour, guide gave a good amount of history, with most of the the time for exploring. Proper shoes needed to climb the steps to the best views. Lunch could have been served with serving utensils, as it’s from family style plates. Hotel pick up & drop off very appreciated.

Trinh our Viator host kept in touch via WhatsApp and kept us informed from the start. Great company with excellent customer service very highly recommend. They did such a great job I booked a cruise through Trinh two days later. This was a nice tour of Tràng An UN World Heritage site (Ninh Bình). This was a nice tour of Tràng An UN World Heritage site (Ninh Bình). There was a lot of exercise (walking, stairs), but NO biking. If you want to bike, ask the tour operator. We were notified that there was no biking prior to the departure date. (1st stop) Mua Cave - a cave with two mountain peaks above (the peak and trail is the profile picture of this tour). Climbing the mountain above Mua Cave was better than the cave. If you can't do stairs, this portion might not be for you. The view was amazing! Tons of cool pictures. (2nd stop) Hoa Lư - the old capital of Vietnam. There wasn't a lot to see here. Good for some pictures. Definitely worth the visit to check off the bucket list (might as well). (3rd stop) Lunch at a local goat meat restaurant (every restaurant in the area features goat meat - very tasty). The meal was quite traditional, so we didn't know how to eat and share the food properly. We shared food with 4 Vietnamese people, so if you have a family of 5-6 people, don't worry too much. Or just ask how to eat things properly (we were too shy). (4th / final stop) Tam Cốc - basically Ha Long bay on land/river. This was amazing! The best part of the tour. The boat tour was beautiful, and the tour guide paddled with her feet. The boat ride was very relaxing and the views were perfect for pictures and videos. I recommend this tour. If you are interested in seeing the Citadel of the Hồ Dynasty (a nearby UN World Heritage site), this tour might not be for you. However, that site seems empty compared to the already empty Hoa Lư... I'm not upset that we didn't see the other site. You're better off seeing the Citadel in Hà Nội (or even better, Huế!)
