Before taking the tour, We were not sure how much bio luminescence we would be able to see. But upon arrival we were amazed by the view!! The water is not deep and they gave floating noodle, snorkeling gear, shoes, gloves and special body suit (to protect from jelly fish). Bring your iPhone or go-pro to take low light shots from underwater. It was the best part of our trip to Cayman Islands.Staff was great, the rash suits gave us peace of mind. Really fun and unusual activity. Nice boat and the only free beer you will get on the island!

The crew Captain Thomas and first mate Sean were very competent. They checked you in and verified your id. You then go to the boat, where your remove your shoes. You board the boat. We chose an inside seat. During the time at the dock they handled out dive skins. It is protection in case of jelly fish. After putting them on they started the 40 minutes ride to the site. During the ride you can get water, pop or beer. They issue you gloves and booties. After arriving at the bay they give you a safety briefing and explain what the flashing light and solid light mean in for your safety. They spray the inside of your mask and have you rub it in. Then you get to get in the water. They rinse the mask for you and give you a pool noodle to help you float .Once you are in the water the magic begins. You put your face in the water and move your hands and feet and watch the water light up. If you move like you are playing the piano a symphony of lights ensue. Wave you hands and conduct the lights . It was beautiful. The one unexpected thing was that the water was cooler. So you may get cold. A dry shirt to put on after you get out of the skins makes the ride back more comfortable. Make sure to bring your towels. This is a bucket list must do tour. Seriously. Worth every penny. They have a great boat, great staff, great everything. From the minute you arrive they make you excited about the tour. The staff genuinely love their jobs which is so rare anymore.
