2hrs before our tour, I received a phone call from the guide informing me that they were short of a tour guide to take us on the walk tour but will keep me posted as he work on finding a replacement. At 5:10 pm I received an email from guide advising me that the walking tour was cancelled. In th...
2hrs before our tour, I received a phone call from the guide informing me that they were short of a tour guide to take us on the walk tour but will keep me posted as he work on finding a replacement. At 5:10 pm I received an email from guide advising me that the walking tour was cancelled. In the email he suggested that I download the app and take the tour on my own and pointed out some interesting highlights and said he will take care of the rest on his end and will send an e-transfer for the remaining balance if don’t take the matter to you. I wonder if this is customary practice because I find this behaviour inappropriate, If I had canceled the tour on the day of, I would have lost the possibility of a refund. Now have to negotiate my refund while on Christmas holiday!
