Pass through the Historic Downtown Newport section to learn about what made Newport one of the most imporant colonial cities in America. As we weave through downtown we will visit the famed Ten-Mile Ocean Drive known for it's breathtaking beauty.
Pass By: Bellevue Avenue, Bellevue Ave., Newport, RI
As we finish our tour of the Ten-Mile Ocean Drive we will continue our tour on Bellevue Avenue, known for the opulent estates that made the Gilded Ages part of Newport's famed history!
Stop At: Marble House, 596 Bellevue Ave, Newport, RI 02840-4265
Visit the opulent summer cottage of Alva & William K Vanderbilt.
*As of January 3, 2022 all Preservation Society of Newport Mansions are requiring proof of vaccines for all children aged 5 and up. As of January 15, 2022 all adults must also show proof of their Booster Vaccines.

We loved our guide. She was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to listen to. She had great suggestions in places to visit afterwards, so we went back to the Cliff walk, the fort and along the ocean to walk on the rocks.
