We were given the wrong location as to where to be picked up. I had to call several ones for correct address. The driver barely spoke English on telling us where to go and how to board. Missed our original pick up location. What a complete waste!!!!

Same amazing view as before but unlike last time an exceptionally poor visitor experience. The top deck has a sign stating max 200 people - more would be “dangerous and unlawful”. I counted more than 300! I was pushed around from place to place with no chance of getting in to see the views I’d paid for. I went down to the lower level where the views are through a plastic screen. Good, but not worth the entrance fee. On the way down we were sent in groups down an escalator that led to a revolving door. The queue for that door led to a near pile-up of people trying to get off the escalator. Dangerous and totally unnecessary.Best time to go is early morning after 9am opening as there is no queue. Very slick admission including bag search etc. The views are incredible, and you can access further two floors up to gain complete unrestricted views.

There’s no point paying extra for Sunset tickets when you can buy an earlier time and stick around.

Got tickets for 7:30 PM to watch the sunset. Got there at 6:30 and staff turned us away for being too early and without clear advice for when to get back in line. We got back in line at 7:00 and it took more than an hour to get inside and we missed the sunset. The staff was managing the line very poorly, disconsidering people's concerns and without clear communication of what to expect. Our worst experience in NYC, I recommend you stay away and find another observation deck.
